Job Description:
GDH is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist to work with our client.  We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in FFP (Firm Fixed Price) and CPFF (Cost Plus Fixed Fee) environments and will be responsible for managing invoices, purchase orders, and approvals efficiently. This role requires someone who can manage AP processes independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage invoices, purchase orders, and approvals in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure compliance with FFP and CPFF contract requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all AP transactions.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth AP operations.
  • Follow SOPs and improve AP processes as needed.
  • Provide support during audits and financial reviews.
  • Occasionally travel to Merritt Island, Florida for training.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in FFP and CPFF environments.
  • Proficiency in managing invoices, purchase orders, and approvals.
  • Experience with Costpoint and SharePoint is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Ability to follow SOPs and manage AP processes independently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility in work location with the ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with Costpoint and SharePoint.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
