Job Description:
GDH is hiring a DIS Manage File Transfer Admin to work with our client, an 
innovative defense, space, and intelligence solutions provider.  This is an E-commerce position requiring a minimum of bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or has equivalent work experience.  Must have strong administration support skills in UNIX (Solaris / Linux), AWS Cloud, and IBM Connect:Direct, Axway Secure Transport, and SFTP experience.  Individuals must be able to lead, implement, and support of specialized business and technical information technology solutions.  Must be willing to work off hours, weekends and on-call.

Technical Skills and product knowledge requirements:
  • Strong UNIX Solaris / Linux systems administration skills.
  • Strong Experience administering and configuring IBM Connect Direct, Away Secure Transport, and SFTP.
  • Hands on experience with Terraform, AWK EKS, CloudWatch.
  • Deep experience with AWS cloud automation and resilient design architectures.
  • Experience with management of SSL, TLS, data encryption, and certificates.
  • Experience with AWS environments and technologies (S3, BLOB).
  • Strong scripting experience (Shell, Perl, Python).
  • Basic understanding of networking.
Quals/Responsibilities:
  • Perform support responsibilities with IBM Connect Direct, Axway Secure Transport, and SFTP on Unix / Linux.
  • Provide build and operations support, including troubleshooting, timely resolution, and root cause analysis of incidents in the environments.
  • Perform change management (CM) role on the components.  Implement change requests based on CM processes.
  • Has proven interpersonal, communication, organizational, documentation, leadership, and customer service skills.
  • Qualified applicants have a Bachelor's degree in a related area or have at least 10 years of experience in the field.
  • Strong diplomacy, assertiveness, influencing skills with commitment and ability to work in a dynamic cross-organizational team environment.
  • Ability to manage own projects including communications to customers as well as work as part of a larger operational team.
