GDH is working with our client to find a strong EDVT Test Engineer candidate who lives near San Jose, CA to join their team.
Below are the requirements:

EDVT Test Engineer
Roles & Responsibilities:  
– Utilize product functional and architectural knowledge to implement optimal test processes
– Drive failure analysis (debug) and drive multiple complex issues to resolution with corrective action
– Work hands-on to implement, configure and execute tests on multiple platforms
– Develop and utilize automation in test tools and create automation test scripts
– Write test report and document the test requirement, procedure, and result
– Debug and resolve issues related to any aspect of transceiver module or system failure
– Work with cross-functional project teams and supply base throughout product development phase
– Interface with platform HW teams on issues, host design, module quals, EDVT, debugging

Preferred Qualifications:
– B.S in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with >4 years of relevant experience

– Hands on experience with electrical and optical test and measurement equipment including Optical attenuators, switches, spectrum analyzers, digital multi-meters, traffic generators, and oscilloscopes
– Experience with automated test (Unix/Linux, Python, Tcl/Expect, CTE, Lab View, or Test Tracker)
– Experience with basic networking
– Experience looking at product specifications and datasheets for analyzing results and performance
