GDH is hiring a Financial Analyst to work with our client. The Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and efficiency of projects within an organization. This position involves monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on project financials to support effective decision-making and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track and report on project budgets, expenditures, and forecasts. Ensure financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Analyze project costs and identify areas for cost savings. Implement cost control measures to keep projects within budget.
- Conduct variance analysis to compare actual project costs against budgeted costs. Identify and explain variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Assess financial risks associated with projects and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor risk factors and update risk assessments as needed.
- Collaborate with project managers, finance teams, and other stakeholders to provide financial insights and support project planning and execution.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Prepare for and support internal and external audits.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support project planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, project control, or a related role.
- Experience with 533 Forms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
