Technical Data Analyst

How You Will Spend Your Time
•    Working with stakeholders to understand their business needs and gather detailed requirements.
•    Creating comprehensive documentation of business and functional requirements, ensuring clarity and completeness.
•    Collaborating with technology partners to architect, design, and build data and analytics solutions that empower business success. 
•    Creating data flows, architecture diagrams, data model, data integration, data controls, transformations, and more! 
•    Coordinating with project managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure seamless communication and understanding of requirements and timelines
•    Leading meetings – providing agendas and engaging the right resources, keeping on track with agenda
•    Working with core system subject matter experts to deeply understand data models and define transformation logic.
•    Preparing and presenting requirement documentation and status reports to stakeholders and project teams.
•    Applying advanced technical understanding of data flows across multiple applications, software and system integrations, RDBMS principles, and tiered environments
•    Working with data engineers and business stakeholders to understand the current fraud analytics and detection system that are in place 
•    Partnering with data engineers and business stakeholders to understand requirements for a new fraud analytics and detection system that will be developed in BOKF’s cloud data lake/LakeHouse environment.
Experience and education 
Bachelor’s Degree in a data-centric field (Computer Science, Economics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, etc.) and minimum 4-6 Years’ experience with demonstrated track record of successful technical leadership in the execution of large-scale data projects.
•    Proven ability to learn quickly and demonstrate background as a “self-starter” 
•    Strong TSQL expertise 
•    Understanding of ETL methodologies and data integration design patterns (API, streaming, enterprise job schedulers, batch)
•    Azure Data Lake and Azure Data bricks experience is a plus
•    Strong understanding of Data Warehouse and data lake concepts 
•    Hands-on experience developing test cases and entering defects
•    Well-developed oral and written communication skills and ability to present complex information and issues in a clear and concise manner
•    Well-developed conceptual thinking and analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex problems that include interrelationships and dependencies to identify common themes and solutions,
•    Strong sense of accountability, taking ownership over projects and responsibilities, and resolving issues proactively
