Job Title: PC Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive PC Technician to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting desktop computers to ensure seamless integration into our clients' environments. Your technical expertise will help deliver a smooth onboarding experience for end users and maintain optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure software applications on new PCs to meet client-specific requirements.
  • Unpack, physically set up, and ensure proper placement of new desktop computers at various client sites.
  • Collaborate closely with help desk team members to troubleshoot and resolve deployment or hardware issues that arise beyond initial setup.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with end-users to ensure they understand their new equipment and address any immediate concerns.
  • Use Active Directory to accurately set up and manage end-user accounts and permissions.
  • Utilize SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) to create disk images and deploy operating systems efficiently across multiple devices.
  • Perform routine hardware and software checks, maintain inventory, and document setup procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with PC hardware installation and software configuration.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and SCCM for user account management and imaging.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide clear instructions to end users.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of networking principles is a plus.

Pay Rate: $20.00 – $22.00 Hourly
