About the Role:

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be a key member of our Enterprise IT Infrastructure team, responsible for ensuring a resilient, high-performance global network that connects over 185 sites in five countries. You will lead efforts in engineering complex wired and wireless networks, managing core switches, routers, firewalls, and VPN solutions. Collaborating closely with security counterparts, you will implement industry-leading security practices to safeguard our internal digital environment.

This role demands a proactive approach, combining technical expertise with strategic planning to enhance network reliability, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and support a sophisticated international network infrastructure spanning multiple continents and locations, including retail stores, warehouses, call centers, and corporate offices.
• Maintain optimal network performance and uptime through diligent operational management and proactive health checks.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues swiftly, execute scheduled upgrades, and optimize network performance through detailed analysis.
• Monitor and manage all global network circuits and infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity.
• Partner with the Information Security team to develop and enforce security policies, defining access controls and maintaining compliance standards.
• Lead network upgrade initiatives, expansions, and the deployment of new solutions in alignment with business needs.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and partner solutions for potential integration across the organization’s extensive network environment.
• Document standard operating procedures and provide advanced troubleshooting guidance and training to Tier 1 support teams.
• Deliver 24/7 Tier 3 support, ensuring network stability and resolving escalated technical issues efficiently.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience & Expertise:

  • Minimum of 8 years in network engineering, with a focus on large-scale, enterprise environments.
  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience designing or architecting SaaS or cloud-based network solutions.
  • Strong background in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and network management within cloud environments.
  • Proven track record with virtualization technologies and software-defined networking (SDN/SDDC).
  • Extensive experience with Cisco, Meraki, and Palo Alto firewalls and network devices.

• Technical Knowledge:

  • Deep understanding of IP routing, subnetting, and complex routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP.
  • Skilled in designing high-availability networks incorporating fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of security architectures, including Zero Trust models and encryption protocols.
  • Familiarity with VoIP, VPN, VLANs, wireless standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac), and network protocols like SNMP, RADIUS, and TACACS+.
  • Experience with network automation, SDN/SDDC, and cloud networking services.

• Certifications & Education:

  • Industry certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
