Records Clerk 

We are seeking a detail-oriented Records Clerk to support records research and management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with vital asset and geographic records, contributing to the efficiency and accuracy of our records management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed records research using Perceptive Document Management, Maximo, GIS systems, and related tools to support asset management activities.
  • Assist employees and contractors with activities and projects involving records retrieval, verification, and correction under the guidance of Asset Management staff.
  • Support record accuracy by correcting and updating records as needed to ensure data integrity.
  • Utilize digital mapping technologies, including Google Earth, Google Street View, and Bing Maps, to assist in locating and verifying geographic and parcel information.
  • Support the Central Records help desk by handling inbound requests during business hours and participate in after-hours rotation to provide ongoing support.
  • Maintain organized records and documentation, ensuring compliance with information management standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts related to records and information management programs, including Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and other automation tools.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience with utility operation records, geographic parcel, or parcel legal research is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience with oil-well lease research or similar records work is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of records and information management systems, including ECM and automation tools.
  • Familiarity with GIS mapping and experience with Perceptive platforms preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems such as Maximo and GIS mapping tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a small team.
  • Physical ability to lift boxes weighing up to 30 lbs and climb ladders when necessary.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.

Pay Range: $18.00 – $20.00 hourly
