Role Summary
The Procurement Coordinator plays a vital role in managing the procure-to-pay process for materials and services within the organization. This position involves coordinating requisitions, purchasing, receiving, and invoicing activities to ensure seamless material flow for both operational and capital projects. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to support supply chain efficiency and maintain accurate inventory and procurement records.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage requisitions and receipts within the ERP system to facilitate procurement activities.
  • Assist in sourcing, vendor selection, and contract negotiations to secure necessary materials and services.
  • Expedite purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and meet project schedules.
  • Track open purchase orders and monitor supplier performance to uphold quality and delivery standards.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure proper material storage.
  • Review and resolve invoice holds related to purchase orders, coordinating with Accounts Payable and vendors.
  • Communicate regularly with internal teams and suppliers to address order issues and provide updates.
  • Support process improvements within procurement workflows to enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of procurement activities for reporting and audit purposes.

Qualifications

  • 1 to 4 years of relevant procurement or supply chain experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with ERP software, including Oracle Cloud, is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Power Apps.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and invoice resolution.
  • Familiarity with the oil and gas industry is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Available to work in a flexible schedule, including a hybrid work environment.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

Publishing Pay Range: $18.00 – $25.00 Hourly

This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
