Role Summary
This position involves managing projects within a single or multiple business segments, often coordinating across internal departments and external stakeholders. The project manager is responsible for delivering solutions that may include standard process customizations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The role requires a blend of technical understanding, strategic planning, and stakeholder communication.
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation, utilizing standard templates where applicable.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget, and escalate issues as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to facilitate project delivery and resolve issues effectively.
- Manage project financials, including estimating, billing, and identifying opportunities for value-added services or cost reductions.
- Coordinate with legal, procurement, and finance departments to ensure contractual and budgetary compliance.
- Gather and analyze project data to inform decision-making and optimize project performance.
- Conduct conflict resolution and negotiate solutions among stakeholders to maintain project momentum.
- Track time, scope, and costs throughout the project lifecycle, adjusting plans as necessary to meet objectives.
- Support the integration of company acquisitions or M&A activities by coordinating efforts between merging entities.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure clear communication regarding project status, risks, and changes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4+ years of relevant project management experience, preferably in a corporate or industry setting.
- Proven ability to manage projects across internal functions and external stakeholders with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-up capabilities.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for business audiences and vice versa.
- Familiarity with corporate integrations or M&A activities is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent are preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience with relevant training.
- Eligible to work within the required location without restrictions.
Publishing Pay Range: $30.00 – $37.00 Hourly
This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
