Role Summary
This senior business analyst position requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in process analysis, requirements gathering, and stakeholder engagement. The role involves leading efforts to define, develop, and document business processes and digital solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The individual will serve as a key liaison between business and technical teams, facilitating effective communication and delivering actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and refinement of business process flow diagrams to support digital transformation initiatives.
- Establish and enforce standardized procedures for requirements acquisition and documentation across the team.
- Collaborate closely with organizational change management (OCM) teams to assess and address people impacts.
- Work with value teams to identify value levers, forecasts, and benefits realization strategies.
- Facilitate workshops and requirements gathering sessions with senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Ensure seamless handover of requirements to product owners and technical teams, maintaining traceability and clarity.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for technical teams regarding process-related inquiries.
- Partner with business analysts and technical leads to stay ahead of development cycles, supporting sprint planning.
- Drive business sign-offs and approvals, maintaining stakeholder alignment and project momentum.
- Support the identification and ideation of digital automation and AI solutions to optimize operational efficiencies.
Qualifications
- 10-15 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or related roles, preferably within the energy industry.
- Proven experience in requirements gathering, process modeling, and stakeholder facilitation, especially with executive audiences.
- Strong knowledge of digital technology interactions, automation, and AI applications.
- Demonstrated success working in fast-paced environments with cross-functional teams.
- Experience collaborating with organizational change management (OCM) teams.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to join onsite in Houston and work downtown at client locations.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
Publishing Pay Range: $75.00 – $80.00 Hourly
This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
