Key Responsibilities:
- Advanced Cisco Infrastructure Support: Architect, deploy, and troubleshoot complex Cisco network environments, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN solutions, ensuring maximum uptime and security.
- Network Optimization: Continuously analyze and enhance network performance across LAN/WAN architectures, implementing scalable solutions aligned with organizational needs.
- System Configuration & Maintenance: Manage Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, NX-OS configurations with precision, performing regular updates, patches, and health checks to ensure stability and security.
- Solution Lifecycle Management: Lead the full lifecycle of Cisco infrastructure solutions—from planning and implementation to ongoing support—proposing enhancements that boost efficiency, security, and reliability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with network, security, and systems teams to develop integrated solutions, troubleshoot issues, and deliver seamless technology experiences.
- Technical Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create comprehensive technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles to facilitate team support and contemporary best practices.
- Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a trusted technical advisor, supporting client requirements and delivering exceptional service tailored to operational needs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering, with deep expertise in Cisco routing, switching, security (ASA/Firepower), and VPN technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory): Cisco CCNP or higher (CCIE highly preferred), F5-CA or F5-CTS, Security+ CE, CCNA Security.
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required, with IAT Level II or higher security certification.
- Proven track record in designing, deploying, and supporting complex network architectures.
- Excellent communication skills, with strong documentation, organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Publishing Pay Rate: $100.00 – $120.00 Hourly
