Role Summary
This position is for an experienced Automation Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated solutions to improve operational efficiency. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and ensure seamless integration of automation systems. It requires a detail-oriented professional capable of delivering reliable and scalable automation processes in a remote work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows using relevant tools and programming languages.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operational teams to identify automation opportunities and requirements.
  • Design, test, and deploy automation solutions that improve process efficiency and accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to existing automation systems and scripts.
  • Document automation processes, solutions, and best practices for future reference and training.
  • Monitor automation system performance and implement improvements as needed.
  • Ensure automation solutions adhere to safety, security, and compliance standards.
  • Stay updated on emerging automation technologies and industry trends.
  • Provide technical support and training to team members on automation tools and processes.
  • Participate in project planning and execution to meet business objectives and deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in automation engineering, scripting, and process automation.
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or similar.
  • Experience with automation tools and platforms like UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, or equivalent.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration and documentation.
  • Knowledge of system integration, APIs, and data management.
  • Availability to work during standard business hours.
  • Authorization to work in the designated country without sponsorship now or in the future. 

Publishing Pay Range: $$100.00 – $107.00 Hourly
This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
