We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Infrastructure Platform Administrator to join our IT Security team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our vulnerability management platform using Tenable.io. This role involves skills in tool deployment and enablement of scan tool capabilities to maintain and expand our infrastructure security posture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tool Deployment: Experience in scanner deployment and installation of scan tool application.
- Vulnerability Management: Utilize Tenable.io to conduct vulnerability scans (authenticated and non-authenticated), discovery scans, and configuration scans to identify risk and assess reachability.
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Manage and maintain the infrastructure platform, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to vulnerability management.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies to enhance the vulnerability management process.
- Credential Management: Platform and Operations support for authenticated vulnerability scanning; including credential management used for authenticated vulnerability scanning; including remote network vulnerability with credentials and agent based. Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security, with a focus on vulnerability management.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of network and system security principles.
- Solid understanding of Vulnerability Management best practices and processes.
- Hands-on experience as a System Administrator, with a focus on Linux environments.
- Experience with agent deployment and credential management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with Tenable.io for vulnerability scanning and management.
- Experience with Tenable.sc.
- Scripting experience using Python and Shell.
- Experience with the ServiceNow Vulnerability Response module.
- Familiarity with threat intelligence concepts and tools.
- Experience working with or implementing AI-driven security solutions.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
