As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be at the forefront of our client’s shift from a complex, monolithic system to a state-of-the-art, flexible digital platform. This multi-year project aligns with federal standards ensuring innovative, compliant, and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead contract review and monitoring activities related to development, configuration, and operations, ensuring vendor compliance and delivery.
- Collaborate with multiple vendors and cross-functional teams in both virtual and in-person settings to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Review, analyze, and approve project artifacts, documentation, and software products generated by vendors.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project scope and requirements.
- Support the requirements management process, translating business needs into technical specifications and validating vendor solutions.
- Participate actively in all project phases, including planning, execution, and delivery, using agile or traditional project management methodologies.
- Assist with CMS reporting, accreditation, and certification activities, maintaining compliance across all project deliverables.
- Track project progress, issues, risks, and variances, reporting to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders.
- Foster strong stakeholder relationships through effective communication, presentations, and documentation.
- Maintain project records, artifacts, and schedules to facilitate transparency and accountability.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum of 7 years as a Senior Business Analyst, with at least 3 years specializing in business process modeling and management.
- At least 5 years of experience in MMIS or major healthcare payers.
- A minimum of 2 years managing multi-vendor projects, demonstrating strong stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency with Visio, MS Project, Office 365, Webex/Teams.
- Deep understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business process analysis skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of engaging with diverse audiences including executives and subject matter experts.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively manage complex, conflicting priorities.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
Preferred:
- Over 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, including extensive business process management expertise.
- More than 5 years within MMIS or healthcare payer environments.
- Experience in leading teams within large, multi-contractor organizations, including matrixed or centralized team leadership.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, and technical documentation.
Desired Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may suffice.
Publishing Pay Range: $60.00 – $65.00 USD Hourly
