This position involves conducting comprehensive testing for software applications across multiple platforms, including iOS, Android, web, and API/Services. The role requires a mid-level tester capable of executing manual testing procedures as well as supporting automation testing efforts. Collaborating within an Agile Scrum environment, the tester ensures high-quality deliverables through detailed test case management and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Perform manual testing on iOS, Android, web applications, and API/Services to identify issues and verify functionality.
  • Assist with automation testing initiatives on API/Services using relevant tools and scripting languages.
  • Develop and maintain test cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage and adherence to project requirements.
  • Execute test plans and document results accurately in test management systems.
  • Collaborate with development teams to reproduce issues and verify bug fixes.
  • Utilize Jira and Confluence for issue tracking, documentation, and team communication within Agile workflows.
  • Participate actively in daily stand-up meetings and sprint planning sessions.
  • Support continuous improvement of testing processes and practices.
  • Ensure tests are aligned with project timelines and quality standards.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and analyzing test failures to provide clear feedback to developers.

Qualifications

  • Experience with automation testing, including scripting in Typescript or JavaScript.
  • Proven expertise in manual testing across web, mobile (iOS and Android), and API/Services.
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and working within Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong understanding of test case management, execution, and defect tracking.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills for documenting issues and collaborating with team members.
  • Available to work on a hybrid schedule, with time split between remote work and in-office presence.
  • Relevant experience in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Must have legal eligibility to work in the applicable location.

Publishing Pay Range: $45.00 – $50.63 Hourly
