A senior-level IT Project Manager responsible for leading and coordinating highly complex projects with significant organizational impact. This role involves strategic planning, project execution, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure successful completion within scope, time, and budget constraints. The position requires extensive technical knowledge and leadership skills to guide teams and improve project outcomes across various IT initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a variety of highly complex IT projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic priorities.
- Understand and analyze business requirements, assess project risks, and oversee the entire project lifecycle.
- Apply technical expertise and leadership skills to resolve issues, advise team members, and ensure project success.
- Measure, monitor, and report on project performance, providing updates to senior leadership.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and communication.
- Collaborate with software development teams on requirements gathering, analysis, design, and deployment processes.
- Use business applications and analytics tools to enhance organizational performance and competitive advantage.
- Interpret customer needs, evaluate project requirements, and identify appropriate solutions for process and service improvements.
- Develop and oversee project plans, scope, schedules, budgets, and risk management strategies.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment, maintaining quality and adherence to deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum seven (7) years of project management experience, including three (3) years in information technology or eleven (11) years of relevant business experience.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale IT infrastructure projects, such as hosting, network, or cloud implementations.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and safety-oriented skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and PC skills.
- PMP certification is preferred.
- Experience working with data analytics platforms such as Data Bricks and Big Data is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Knowledge of project planning, scope management, budgeting, risk assessment, and change control.
- Infrastructure experience is a must, with familiarity in core network and cloud environments.
- Prior experience in the oil and gas sector, especially with field and operational projects, is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
Publishing Pay Range: $50.00 – $62.00 Hourly
This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
