Role Summary
This role involves managing complex Microsoft Teams issues and supporting enterprise-level collaboration and endpoint configurations. The position requires a seasoned IT professional capable of troubleshooting and resolving advanced communication platform challenges, ensuring optimal performance and user experience. The role also encompasses collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement infrastructure improvements and streamline endpoint management processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead investigations into complex Microsoft Teams issues including microphone, video, connectivity, call quality, and Teams Phone problems.
- Analyze and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 endpoint configurations, imaging processes, and Active Directory integrations.
- Identify root causes of user impact inconsistencies and develop sustainable resolution strategies.
- Evaluate and enhance endpoint imaging standards, configuration procedures, and Office 365 tenant settings.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, systems architecture, and other IT teams to implement effective solutions.
- Support deployment and adoption efforts for Windows 11 and Office 365 optimization projects.
- Document troubleshooting procedures, configuration standards, and best practices to prevent recurring issues.
- Provide strategic guidance for long-term improvements in endpoint management and collaboration tools.
- Monitor and troubleshoot policy, imaging, profile, and tenant-level issues affecting subsets of users.
- Assist in the development and implementation of IT processes that enhance system reliability and performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience troubleshooting Microsoft Teams in enterprise environments.
- Strong background in Office 365 administration and engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of Active Directory and endpoint configuration management.
- Experience with Windows 10/11 imaging, deployment, and configuration processes.
- Ability to diagnose issues affecting specific user groups, including policies, imaging, profiles, and tenant-level inconsistencies.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead initiatives.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills to document and share best practices.
- Availability to work on-site as required.
Publishing Pay Range: $62.00 – $68.00 hourly
This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
