Role Summary
A senior-level Network Engineer responsible for ensuring the reliable, secure, and scalable operation of enterprise network services within a highly regulated environment. This role oversees the complete network service lifecycle, including planning, deployment, maintenance, incident resolution, and continuous improvement, supporting a global network infrastructure. The Network Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to maintain operational excellence, enforce compliance standards, and drive resiliency across data centers, campus, branch, and edge environments.

Responsibilities
- Manage and enhance the operational health, stability, and resilience of assigned network services, including DNS, DHCP, IPAM, load balancing, and security devices.
- Perform comprehensive troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve incidents and implement permanent solutions, reducing repeat issues.
- Execute and validate production changes, ensuring they meet supportability, security, and compliance standards through rigorous change management processes.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Architecture, Security, and Engineering teams to embed operational and regulatory requirements into service design and delivery plans.
- Provide ongoing reporting on network service performance, resilience, and operational risk, keeping stakeholders informed throughout the service lifecycle.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and strategic partners to ensure service performance, support continuous improvements, and facilitate knowledge transfer.
- Support operational engineering capabilities by sharing best practices, fostering standards adoption, and promoting reliability-focused discipline.
- Work with project teams and stakeholders to deliver network solutions effectively, ensuring operational integrity and alignment with business objectives.
- Offer flexible support outside of regular business hours, including weekends and regional time zones, to maintain continuous network availability.
- Maintain compliance with audit and regulated environment standards, including managing change controls and security policies related to network infrastructure.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in enterprise network engineering within complex, regulated environments.
- Proven expertise in network operations, incident management, and production change execution for large-scale networks.
- Hands-on experience implementing Infoblox DDI solutions (DNS, DHCP, IPAM), including design, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- In-depth understanding of TCP/IP protocols, routing, switching, VLAN configurations, and network design principles.
- Knowledge of DNS and DHCP dependencies, including Anycast and Unicast DNS configurations, and integration with load balancers such as F5.
- Experience configuring firewalls, access control lists, and network traffic flow controls for DDI services.
- Familiarity with DNS security concepts like RPZ, RHZ, sinkholing, and DNS logging, including security integration with SIEM platforms.
- Ability to troubleshoot using network analysis tools such as tcpdump, Wireshark, dig, nslookup, and centralized log analysis.
- Strong stakeholder communication skills and experience leading network migration projects across multiple teams and regions.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and available for support outside standard business hours as needed.
Publishing Pay Range: $61.89 – $64.73 hourly
This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
