Role Summary
A Service Delivery Manager is sought to oversee cloud operations and lead a technical team supporting enterprise infrastructure services. This senior-level role requires a hands-on leader capable of managing performance, driving automation initiatives, and ensuring system reliability across cloud platforms. The position involves strategic oversight and direct technical contribution within Azure and AWS environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of 8–10 engineers supporting cloud, monitoring, and application services
  • Serve as a technology subject matter expert in Azure and AWS, providing guidance on architecture and operational best practices
  • Oversee service delivery for cloud infrastructure, automation tools, and monitoring solutions to ensure high performance and availability
  • Maintain system reliability, scalability, and performance across enterprise environments
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance automation and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to align cloud initiatives with organizational objectives
  • Support onboarding, mentoring, and professional development for team members
  • Provide strategic input on future cloud architecture and automation strategies
  • Monitor and optimize cloud resources to meet performance and cost goals
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards in cloud operations

Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading technical teams with 8 or more direct reports
  • Extensive hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Strong background in cloud operations, automation, and monitoring frameworks
  • Experience in service delivery, infrastructure management, or platform engineering
  • Ability to operate as both a technical SME and a people leader
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience
  • Prior experience working in federal or regulated environments preferred
  • Knowledge of enterprise observability and monitoring tools is advantageous
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation initiatives
  • This position requires eligibility for a U.S. Government security clearance. In accordance with federal law, U.S. citizenship is required.

Publishing Pay Range: $60.00 – $65.00 USD Hourly
This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
