Role Summary
This senior-level position involves the administration, configuration, and maintenance of ArcGIS Enterprise systems, including ArcGIS Server and Web Adaptor, to support high system availability and optimal performance. The role requires extensive experience in managing GIS services and applications, with a focus on deployment, performance tuning, and automation. Collaboration with stakeholders to develop and implement enterprise geospatial solutions is a key aspect of this role.
Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and maintain ArcGIS Enterprise infrastructure, including ArcGIS Server and Web Adaptor, to ensure system reliability.
- Manage the publishing, deployment, and optimization of GIS services and applications utilizing ArcGIS Pro.
- Automate routine administrative tasks and data management processes through scripting with Python and ArcPy.
- Monitor system health, security protocols, and scalability of the GIS infrastructure across enterprise environments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design, implement, and support enterprise-level geospatial solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, updates, and procedures.
- Keep the GIS infrastructure updated with the latest patches, versions, and security measures.
- Provide technical guidance and support to users and technical teams.
- Participate in ongoing evaluations of new GIS technologies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Eight (8) to fifteen (15) years of professional experience with GIS systems and enterprise geospatial solutions.
- Proven experience administering ArcGIS Enterprise, including ArcGIS Server and Web Adaptor.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Python and ArcPy, for automation tasks.
- Familiarity with GIS service deployment, system performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure management, including security and scalability considerations.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with technical and stakeholder teams.
- Ability to analyze complex technical requirements and develop effective solutions.
- Experience with system monitoring and maintenance tools relevant to GIS environments.
- Availability to work in a hybrid schedule combining remote work with on-site presence in Tampa, FL.

Publishing Pay Range: $65.00 – $70.00 hourly
This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
