Role Summary
This position involves managing the operational and tactical aspects of multiple large-scale, complex projects within a federal environment. The role requires overseeing project execution, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. It is ideal for a seasoned project management professional with experience in professional or managed services, supporting global financial clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day management of multiple large-scale federal projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Develop detailed work breakdown structures (WBS) with clear interdependencies and critical paths to guide project execution.
  • Create and implement comprehensive communication strategies for internal teams and external stakeholders at all levels of management.
  • Monitor project progress, generate status reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to support project success and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain resource plans to allocate personnel and technology effectively across multiple projects.
  • Utilize project management tools and techniques to enhance project execution efficiencies and overall performance.
  • Manage project scope changes proactively to prevent scope creep and minimize project risks.
  • Conduct risk assessments, develop risk mitigation plans, and oversee their implementation throughout project lifecycles.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within budget by analyzing financial metrics such as profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, and resource utilization.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager in a professional services or managed services environment, with a focus on externally facing customer projects.
  • Proven experience managing large, complex projects within a federal or government-related setting.
  • Strong background in networking, storage, virtualization, cloud solutions, security, or collaboration technologies such as unified communications.
  • Prior experience with multisite deployment projects, including wireless, Wi-Fi, and point-of-sale systems.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification is preferred.
  • Familiarity with financial processes and the ability to analyze and generate financial reports, preferably using Clarity.
  • Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder analysis, risk management, strategic planning, and change management.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency with project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and proactively manage project timelines and deliverables.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired must verify their identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. Publishing Pay Range: $50.35 – $52.50 Hourly

This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
