Role Summary
This position involves designing, implementing, and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to support automated software delivery processes. The role requires working closely with developers and cloud engineers to ensure infrastructure and deployment environments are predictable, secure, and compliant within regulated settings. It is tailored for a professional with experience in automation, cloud computing, and containerization, operating in an on-site environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or AWS CodeBuild.
  • Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Support and optimize containerized platforms within secure, regulated environments, ensuring compliance with security standards.
  • Collaborate directly with developers and cloud engineers to troubleshoot and resolve delivery and deployment issues.
  • Maintain and improve automation scripts utilizing Bash, Python, or PowerShell to streamline processes.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure and services on platforms such as AWS and Azure.
  • Work with Atlassian tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket for project tracking and documentation.
  • Administer and support Linux-based systems including RHEL, CentOS, or Ubuntu.
  • Adapt to various program needs, priorities, and technical stacks to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance and security best practices are integrated into deployment pipelines and infrastructure management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure automation, or related fields.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience with CI/CD automation tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory, or AWS CodeBuild.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, specifically AWS or Azure.
  • Experience working with Atlassian suite tools including JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
  • Proficiency with Linux systems such as RHEL, CentOS, or Ubuntu.
  • Skilled in scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, security-sensitive environment.
  • This position requires eligibility for a U.S. Government security clearance. In accordance with federal law, U.S. citizenship is required.

Publishing Pay Range: $35.00 – $42.00 USD Hourly

This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
