Role Summary
This position involves managing and overseeing Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation projects within a specific workstream, such as ERP, SCM, or HCM. The project manager is responsible for planning, day-to-day coordination, issue resolution, and ensuring project milestones are achieved on time and within budget. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver aligned, successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact and project leader for an assigned Oracle Fusion workstream, reporting to the Program Manager.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project plans, including tasks, timelines, dependencies, and resource allocations.
- Conduct regular status meetings, work sessions, and stakeholder updates to communicate progress and issues.
- Identify, track, and escalate risks and issues at the workstream and program levels, ensuring timely resolution.
- Coordinate activities of functional and technical resources, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
- Maintain comprehensive workstream reporting, including status updates, RAID logs, and progress tracking.
- Ensure workstream deliverables meet business requirements and adhere to design decisions.
- Support organizational change management efforts specific to the workstream, in collaboration with change management teams.
- Coordinate testing, training, and cutover activities to ensure project readiness and successful go-live.
- Manage vendor and system integrator resources, tracking deliverables and ensuring adherence to project timelines.
Qualifications
- Five or more years of project management experience, with at least two years specifically on ERP implementation projects.
- Proven experience leading Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP, SCM, and/or HCM) projects at the project level.
- Familiarity with structured PMO or business transformation office environments.
- Strong understanding of project management principles such as scheduling, risk management, and resource planning.
- Excellent communication skills with experience in stakeholder management and delivering presentations to senior leadership.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote setting.
- Availability to manage projects within standard business hours for online collaboration.
Publishing Pay Range: $60.00 – $70.00 USD Hourly
This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
