DevOps Engineer

Role Summary
A senior DevOps engineer with extensive experience supporting enterprise cloud infrastructure and automation. This role involves executing and managing deployment processes, provisioning Azure environments, and troubleshooting complex issues to ensure reliable operations. The position offers collaborative engagement with client stakeholders and requires a hands-on approach to deployment, configuration, and operational support within a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute prioritized DevOps requests from intake through implementation, validation, deployment, and closure.
• Provision, configure, and modify Microsoft Azure infrastructure using Terraform, including networking, security, identity, storage, data, and Azure Kubernetes Service environments.
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot Jenkins CI/CD pipelines with appropriate testing, security, approval, and release controls.
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure, pipeline, deployment, Kubernetes, and environment issues.
• Identify root causes and implement durable fixes to ensure system stability.
• Collaborate with client engineers, requestors, and ServiceNow stakeholders to clarify requirements, manage dependencies, communicate status, and document completed work.
• Support reliable and scalable infrastructure within enterprise change-management processes.
• Ensure deployment and operational tasks align with client standards and best practices.
• Maintain documentation and assist in knowledge transfer to client teams.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts for DevOps processes and tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant DevOps experience supporting cloud infrastructure and automation.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud infrastructure management.
• Profound knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code provisioning.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, including CI/CD pipeline development and support.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Familiarity with ServiceNow for change and incident management.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
• Skilled in troubleshooting infrastructure, pipelines, and deployment environments with root-cause analysis expertise.
• Experience supporting mission-critical systems within enterprise environments.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a client-facing delivery environment.
• Retail industry experience is preferred but not required.
• Available to work in a hybrid schedule, with a mix of remote and on-site days.

Publishing Pay Range: $65.00 – $70.00 hourly

This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
