Role Summary
This position is a mid to senior level enterprise applications developer responsible for supporting and enhancing complex government enterprise systems. The role involves developing, configuring, and maintaining Accela platforms, SSRS reports, and ASP.NET/.NET applications within a hybrid work environment. The successful candidate will collaborate across teams to deliver high quality technical solutions that meet evolving operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to Accela development efforts through scripting, configuration, and workflow updates to optimize system functionality
- Design, develop, and maintain complex SSRS reports involving intricate datasets and business logic
- Develop and maintain ASP.NET/.NET components, including web applications, services, and APIs
- Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to implement integrated solutions and platform enhancements
- Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, and architecture discussions for enterprise applications
- Modify configurations, scripts, and technical components to align with changing business requirements
- Troubleshoot technical issues in Accela and .NET applications, performing root cause analysis and resolution
- Produce comprehensive technical documentation for workflows, integrations, and system modifications
- Recommend and implement scalable, cost-effective improvements to existing systems and workflows
- Maintain knowledge of SDLC processes and relational database management to support application development and deployment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience with JavaScript programming and application development
- Hands-on experience with Accela development, scripting, workflows, permissions, and modules
- Proven skills in ASP.NET/.NET development, web applications, services, and APIs
- Proficiency with SQL and designing or modifying SSRS reports
- Experience working in enterprise Windows Server environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with SDLC processes, relational database concepts, and system testing
Publishing Pay Range: $55.00 – $60.00 hourly
This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
