We are actively seeking a highly skilled Epicor Functional Consultant specializing in WMS and Manufacturing modules to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will leverage extensive expertise in Epicor’s Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Manufacturing functionalities to lead impactful implementations, optimize existing workflows, and drive operational excellence within manufacturing environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence process improvements, contribute to system enhancement initiatives, and support operational success through innovative Epicor solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead End-to-End Implementations: Oversee the configuration, deployment, and optimization of Epicor WMS and Manufacturing modules, ensuring alignment with client business goals.
- Requirements Analysis & Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit and analyze business processes, translating them into scalable Epicor configurations and customizations.
- Bridge Business and Technical Teams: Act as the primary liaison, translating business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications for development and customization projects.
- Documentation & SOP Development: Create and maintain comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and user guides that facilitate effective system usage and compliance.
- Training & Support: Deliver training sessions and provide post-implementation support to ensure seamless adoption and ongoing operation of Epicor modules.
- Workflow & Reports Configuration: Customize workflows, dashboards, saved searches, and reports to meet operational needs, enhancing visibility and efficiency.
- Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Quickly identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex functional and technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and IT teams to ensure integrated and efficient system functionality.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience with Epicor ERP, specifically in WMS and Manufacturing modules, within manufacturing or supply chain environments.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Epicor WMS functionalities including inventory management, bin management, RF/barcode scanning, warehouse operations, work in progress (WIP), Routings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Manufacturing & Business Processes: Proven understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, MRP, and shop floor control.
- Documentation Skills: Demonstrated ability to develop clear, detailed functional/technical specifications for development teams and end-user SOPs.
- Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and continuous process improvement.
- Independence & Multitasking: Self-motivated, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Epicor certifications in relevant modules or disciplines.
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing best practices, including lean manufacturing, MRP, and quality management.
- Background in supply chain optimization and inventory management strategies.
- Experience with data migration, system integrations, and large-scale deployment projects.
