Join our team as a Full-Stack Developer supporting the Customer Inquiry and Claims Response System (CICRS), a vital platform used to streamline indemnity claims and refunds. This role involves developing innovative solutions to enhance customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and partner engagement through cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based web applications, batch processes, and RESTful APIs to support CICRS functions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create a new external facing API for partners, enabling seamless claim submissions and improving client retention.
  • Integrate micro-services architecture using Kubernetes and Kafka to support event-driven applications, ensuring system robustness and scalability.
  • Assist in migrating legacy systems by leveraging new technologies and best practices.
  • Perform comprehensive testing, including unit, functional, regression, and performance tests, automating where possible to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Support continuous integration and deployment processes using Jenkins and CICD pipelines.
  • Engage with Oracle DB and Hibernate within the Spring Framework to optimize query performance and data management.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • A minimum of 7 years of Java application development, with at least 3 years dedicated to full-stack development.
  • Proven experience in developing web applications using Struts, JSP, HTML, jQuery, CSS, and related technologies.
  • Strong expertise in Java (J2EE, Spring Framework) and API development.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Kafka, micro-services architecture, and event-driven systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Database query optimization and Hibernate.
  • Familiarity with version control systems and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks, including Playwright, and setting up CICD pipelines with Jenkins.

Publishing Pay Range: $50.00 -$55.00 Hourly
