We are seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Service Desk Specialist to join our dynamic technical support team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service while honing your technical expertise in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide primary technical support via phone, email, and voicemails to resolve a wide range of issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Utilize remote tools such as Bomgar to diagnose and troubleshoot client machines effectively.
- Support and troubleshoot Microsoft Office suite applications, web browser add-ins, printing devices, and mobile devices (iOS, Android).
- Handle network configuration and connectivity issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Document all support activities accurately within the ServiceNow ticketing system for transparency and future reference.
- Perform virus and malware removal to safeguard systems against threats.
- Install, configure, and manage software deployments using SCCM, including verification of successful installations.
- Support user account management activities within Active Directory, such as unlocking accounts, changing passwords, and managing group memberships.
- Assist with technical writing by creating and maintaining knowledge base articles for common issues and solutions.
- Collaboate with team members, contributing to a positive and efficient support environment.
- Be flexible to work overtime as needed to ensure team coverage during vacations or illness.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Service Desk or Desktop Support role.
- Proven troubleshooting skills with Windows 10 and Office 365 suite.
- Strong knowledge of mobile device configuration and support.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, SCCM, and remote support tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to produce clear and concise technical documentation.
- Technical acumen in virus and malware remediation.
