Role Summary
This technical support position involves installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware for an on-site client environment. The role requires hands-on support to ensure that workstations and peripherals are set up and functioning correctly. The ideal candidate will possess a foundational understanding of computer hardware and troubleshooting skills to maintain operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and test keyboards, mice, monitors, and other peripherals.
- Perform hardware refreshes and upgrades as necessary for designated workstations.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues and resolve setup problems effectively.
- Assist with the building and assembly of computer systems when required.
- Maintain accurate documentation of hardware configurations and repairs.
- Collaborate with IT team to ensure timely completion of hardware refresh projects.
- Ensure all equipment complies with organizational and safety standards.
- Provide support during the deployment and setup of new hardware assets.
- Manage inventory of hardware components and peripherals.
- Contribute to maintaining a secure and organized hardware environment.
Qualifications
- Basic technical background with experience in building computers and hardware setup.
- Knowledge of computer components, peripherals, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Ability to install and configure computer hardware and peripherals efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Willingness to work on-site in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Prior experience in a technical support role preferred.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety standards.
- Availability to work during standard business hours.

Pay Range: $14.00 – $15.00 Hourly
