Overview:
Join our team as a Journeyman Computer Systems Engineer/Architect specializing in MECM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) and Advanced Endpoint Management Solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the deployment, optimization, and management of enterprise endpoint environments for critical organizational operations, including support for DoD or U.S. Coast Guard environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable MECM environments to support enterprise-wide endpoint management, software deployment, and system updates.
  • Configure and optimize Adaptiva OneSite for efficient content distribution, accelerated software delivery, and endpoint performance enhancement.
  • Develop, test, and deploy complex software packages, updates, and patches utilizing MECM alongside Adaptiva solutions, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
  • Automate deployment processes by creating and maintaining task sequences for automated OS installations, upgrades, and recovery procedures.
  • Enforce security and compliance standards across all endpoints by applying security policies, monitoring system health, and ensuring adherence to organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve MECM and Adaptiva-related issues, including client health, content distribution failures, and system inconsistencies.
  • Develop automation scripts using PowerShell to streamline endpoint management, reporting, and routine maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, procedures, and operational workflows to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding.
  • Generate insightful reports on deployment success rates, system compliance, and health status to inform continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field, coupled with 5+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent expertise.
  • Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance required.
  • Certifications: Must possess DoD 8570 IAT Level II certifications (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years managing MECM environments in large enterprise settings, with proven success in supporting complex deployments.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Extensive hands-on experience with MECM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) in enterprise environments.
    • Proven ability to integrate Adaptiva OneSite for optimized content delivery and endpoint deployment.
    • Strong knowledge of Windows Server platforms (2012–2025), Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and system imaging.
    • Experience configuring and managing virtualization solutions such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks.
    • Excellent documentation skills for technical systems and operational procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting Department of Defense or U.S. Coast Guard environments.
  • Microsoft Certifications such as Endpoint Administrator Associate or Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
  • Familiarity with cloud solutions including Microsoft Azure and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure, load balancing, and distribution content challenges.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to create clear, concise reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
Pay Range: $48.00 – $50.00 hourly
