Role Summary
Seeking a seasoned Power Platform Architect to lead enterprise-wide solution architecture, governance, and environment strategy for complex Power Platform implementations. This senior-level role requires comprehensive expertise in designing, developing, and overseeing scalable Power Platform solutions within a Microsoft ecosystem. The individual will collaborate closely with business and IT stakeholders to deliver robust, secure, and efficient automation and analytics solutions across diverse systems.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement enterprise architecture for Power Platform deployments, including data schema, security models, and multi-environment strategies.
  • Establish and enforce platform governance policies, data loss prevention (DLP) standards, and centers of excellence (CoE) practices while managing lifecycle and application governance.
  • Design scalable Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven), Power Automate flows, and integrations with external systems such as SAP, Salesforce, and Azure services.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed technical designs, including solution architecture, integration maps, and deployment blueprints.
  • Lead solution development by making architecture decisions involving Azure Functions, API management, Logic Apps, custom connectors, and third-party services.
  • Create comprehensive technical documentation, including solution design documents (SDDs), Entity-Relationship Diagrams (ERDs), and deployment strategies.
  • Provide technical mentorship to development teams, reviewing code, and ensuring adherence to best practices and security standards.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT), troubleshoot performance issues, and validate scalability, security, and compliance of solutions.
  • Collaborate onsite with business and IT teams, conducting design reviews and refining solutions to meet project objectives.
  • Stay current with emerging Power Platform and Microsoft ecosystem developments, integrating new capabilities like Copilot Studio and AI features as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience within the Microsoft technology ecosystem, with at least 4+ years dedicated to Power Platform architecture.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing Model-driven and Canvas Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and Dataverse schema management.
  • Strong hands-on experience building custom connectors, Azure Functions, API integrations, and leveraging third-party systems such as SAP, Salesforce, and SQL Server.
  • In-depth understanding of environments, security roles, permissions, governance frameworks, and lifecycle management for enterprise applications.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively manage stakeholder relationships and translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Availability to work onsite full-time (Monday–Friday).
  • Preferred certifications include Microsoft Power Platform Architect (PL-600) or equivalent.
  • Nice-to-have skills include experience with Copilot Studio, generative AI, UiPath, AWS cloud, or large-scale migration projects.

Publishing Pay Range: $90.00 – $101.00 Hourly 

This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
