We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead complex projects within our organization. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence strategic initiatives, improve processes, and work with high-performing teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills to drive successful project delivery and foster innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, requirements, milestones, phases, and deliverables, ensuring seamless transition from initiation to implementation.
  • Support management in change management initiatives to facilitate organizational growth and adaptation.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with analysts and developers to design effective computer solutions aligned with project goals.
  • Provide clear guidance and direction to development and testing scrum teams, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Oversee work management activities, including resource allocation, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Exhibit strong leadership and team-building skills to foster a collaborative environment among high-performing teams and senior leadership.
  • Serve as a technical role model by mentoring application development teams and guiding best practices in design, development, and maintenance.
  • Present well-reasoned decisions supported by research, including options analysis with clear advantages and disadvantages.
  • Effectively communicate project status, technical concepts, and strategic insights across all organizational levels.
  • (Optional) Prepare and manage documentation for SOX compliance as necessary.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Educational Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in a relevant field preferred.
    • Candidates without a relevant degree must possess at least 4 additional years of relevant work experience.
  • Professional Experience:

    • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in project management or related roles.
    • Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and complex projects.
  • Technical Knowledge:

    • Experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks.
    • Familiarity with work management tools such as VersionOne or similar platforms.
    • Working knowledge of Java, UNIX, and SQL, particularly Oracle database systems.
  • Core Competencies:

    • Exceptional leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach.
Publishing Pay Range: $42.00 – $48.00 Hourly
