Join a dynamic team as a PSP ALI Database Project Manager / Analyst, where you'll be at the forefront of ensuring the integrity and accuracy of critical 911 location data. Your role will involve researching, updating, and maintaining ALI (Automatic Location Identification) data associated with 911 circuits and trunks within databases, directly supporting the migration from traditional TDM circuits to modern IP-based SIP connections. This position offers a chance to make a tangible impact on emergency services reliability while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment committed to innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Research & Validation: Conduct comprehensive research to identify and verify ALI subscriber records associated with each originating service provider (OSP), utilizing internal systems, internet research, and regulatory documents.
  • Database Management: Maintain and update the PSP ALI database with high accuracy by adding, modifying, or deleting subscriber records as needed for all OSPs involved in the Wire Center Migration project.
  • Collaborative Support: Work closely with migration managers and team members, providing ad hoc research support and data insights to facilitate OSP transition to IP-based 911 services.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed reports on ALI data status, including key findings and supporting information, using internal tools like Excel and QuickBase.
  • Data Coordination: Oversee data collection efforts related to 911 services, ensuring all information is current, complete, and complies with regulatory requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data management processes, enhance data accuracy, and document best practices for ongoing improvements.

Qualifications:

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
  • Proven experience in detailed relational database research, particularly within telecom or emergency services environments.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage large datasets across multiple applications.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, especially Excel and QuickBase.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, managing complex data with precision.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Deep understanding of legacy 911 data services, including ALI, SRDBs, and MSAGs.
  • Knowledge of telecom circuit provisioning, data systems, and circuit technologies relevant to 911 infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with TDM-based telecom equipment, circuits, and their impact on ALI database maintenance.
  • Experience working with legacy telecom systems in a 911 or emergency services setting is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience:

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in telecom environments, specifically within 911 systems or ALI database management.
  • Hands-on experience with carrier inventory tools such as TIRKS (a plus but not essential).
