Scrum Master (Agile Delivery) — Job Summary
We need a seasoned Scrum Master to help software delivery teams execute effectively in an Agile environment. You’ll facilitate team cadence, clear blockers, partner with product and technology leaders, and strengthen delivery practices so work moves predictably from intake through release.
What you’ll do
- Lead the team’s Agile routines (standups, planning, refinement, reviews/demos, retrospectives) and keep ceremonies purposeful and on time
- Work closely with Product and Engineering partners to align priorities, manage scope, and support roadmap execution
- Coach teams on Agile ways of working (Scrum and/or Kanban-style approaches; may include scaled frameworks depending on the organization)
- Surface risks, blockers, and dependencies early; drive resolution through collaboration and structured follow-up
- Use Jira (or similar tooling) to support sprint setup, workflow visibility, and reporting
- Help teams turn requests and requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable tasks
- Monitor delivery and team-health indicators; communicate progress and trends to stakeholders and help implement improvements
- Protect focus time by reducing outside interruptions and reinforcing working agreements, transparency, and accountability
Minimum qualifications
- 5+ years serving as a Scrum Master in Agile delivery settings
- Active Agile certification (e.g., Scrum Master or equivalent; scaled/agile credentials a plus)
- Background working with software/product teams (engineering, QA, product, or platform)
- Strong, practical Jira experience (running sprints, managing boards/backlogs, reporting)
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills; able to influence without authority and navigate conflict constructively
- PMP or similar project/program credential
- Comfort with modern engineering concepts (APIs/microservices, web apps, release practices)
- Exposure to developer toolchains (Git, containers, IDEs) and/or cloud platforms; light scripting/query familiarity helpful
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs/Sheets/Slides)
Pay range: $42.00–$50.00/hr
