Are you an experienced IT professional with a passion for enterprise automation and system architecture? We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Computer Systems Engineer/Architect to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of advanced internal platform systems. Join our team to drive innovation, enhance operational efficiency, and support critical enterprise initiatives in a secure and dynamic environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and Lead: Design and implement state-of-the-art  architectures to streamline enterprise automation initiatives, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
  • Platform Management: Lead complex upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning across diverse multi-platform environments to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
  • Troubleshooting and Resolution: Provide expert-level support to swiftly diagnose and resolve critical technical issues impacting system availability and security compliance.
  • Automation Development: Create and refine sophisticated automation frameworks utilizing NSH, PowerShell, Python, and Bash to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Patch Management: Oversee enterprise patch management strategies for Windows and Linux servers, aligning with DoD and security standards to maintain system integrity.
  • DevOps Integration: Seamlessly integrate automation solutions into DevOps pipelines and CI/CD workflows, accelerating modernization and deployment cycles.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure automation architecture aligns with organizational objectives, security policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Documentation and Standards: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, processes, and automation standards to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active Secret clearance
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, with 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with internal platforms, including implementation, upgrades, and administration
  • Proficiency in scripting languages: NSH, PowerShell, Python, Bash, Java
  • Extensive experience with server patch management for Windows and Linux environments 
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving complex technical issues

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting DoD or U.S. Coast Guard environments
  • BMC TSSA
  • Familiarity with Oracle or SQL Server databases
  • Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD tools

Note: Candidates must hold an active Secret clearance and meet the certifications outlined.

Publishing Pay Range: $60.00 – $70.00 Hourly
