Role Summary
The Senior Salesforce Developer plays a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining advanced Salesforce solutions to meet complex business needs. This senior-level position involves customizing Salesforce platforms, integrating with external systems, and providing technical leadership within the team. The role requires a strong focus on system optimization, cloud architecture, and ongoing innovation to ensure scalable and reliable Salesforce environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and optimize Salesforce solutions utilizing Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and other relevant technologies.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using object-oriented programming languages such as C# or Java to support application scalability and performance.
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems and APIs to streamline business processes and ensure seamless data flow.
• Architect and deploy cloud-based applications with a focus on high availability and scalability, primarily leveraging Azure or similar cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical designs and solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, sharing expertise to elevate team capabilities and adherence to best practices.
• Conduct troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning to maintain system stability and resolve issues promptly.
• Participate actively in the full application lifecycle, including design, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation covering solution architecture, design specifications, and integration processes.
• Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, industry trends, and emerging technologies to recommend innovative improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years of professional software development experience, with a focus on backend development using object-oriented programming languages like C# or Java.
• At least 4-5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and API integrations.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, security configurations, and deployment procedures.
• Proven expertise with relational database design, schema development, stored procedures, and query optimization.
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns and their application in scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues efficiently.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including system analysts, project managers, and end-users.
• Strong commitment to following coding standards, performing code reviews, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Availability to work remotely and independently manage priorities and deadlines.

Publishing Pay Range: $65.00 – $78.00 Hourly 

This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
