Join our dynamic team as a Senior Computer Systems Engineer/Architect specializing in MECM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) and Adaptiva solutions. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of enterprise endpoint management systems, ensuring robust security, efficiency, and scalability across our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural Leadership: Design, implement, and oversee MECM environments tailored for large-scale enterprise endpoint management.
- Content Distribution Optimization: Deploy, configure, and fine-tune Adaptiva OneSite to enhance content delivery and endpoint performance.
- Software Deployment & Automation: Develop, test, and execute software packages, updates, and patches using MECM and Adaptiva, ensuring seamless deployment processes.
- Automated OS Management: Create and maintain task sequences for automated operating system deployments, upgrades, and migrations.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce endpoint security policies aligned with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide advanced diagnostics and resolution for MECM and Adaptiva issues, including client health, content distribution, and system performance.
- Scripting & Automation: Develop PowerShell scripts and automation solutions to streamline repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and generate insightful reports on deployment success, compliance, and health metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field, with 8+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent expertise.
- Clearance: Active Secret security clearance.
- Certifications: DoD 8570 IAT Level II (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+).
- Experience: At least 5 years supporting or leading MECM and Adaptiva projects in large enterprise environments.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proven experience designing and managing MECM environments at scale.
- Hands-on experience integrating Adaptiva with MECM for efficient content delivery.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server platforms (2012-2025), Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS.
- Skilled in Windows imaging, task sequencing, driver management, and virtualization (VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V).
- Advanced scripting skills in PowerShell for automation and system management.
- Documentation & Communication: Ability to produce clear, detailed system documentation and deliver technical presentations to both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting DoD or U.S. Coast Guard environments.
- Microsoft Certifications: Endpoint Administrator Associate, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services, including AVD (Azure Virtual Desktop).
- Good understanding of network infrastructure, load balancing, and content distribution challenges.
- Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts effectively.
Pay Range: $68.00 – $70.00 Hourly
