Role Summary
This is a senior-level ServiceNow Developer position focused on leading the design, development, and implementation of complex ServiceNow solutions. The role involves working remotely within a dynamic environment to deliver innovative IT service management and portfolio management functionalities. The candidate will serve as a technical leader, providing mentorship and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize ServiceNow platforms and integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of ServiceNow ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.
  • Develop, customize, and implement solutions within ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) to support project, demand, and resource management processes.
  • Utilize the UI Builder Now Framework to create intuitive and customizable portal experiences and workspaces.
  • Build, maintain, and deploy custom scoped applications on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring scalability, security, and high performance.
  • Develop and manage integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems utilizing REST, SOAP, JDBC, and other protocols.
  • Conduct thorough testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure platform reliability and performance.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring junior developers, and guiding best practices across development teams.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and development guides.
  • Stay current with ServiceNow updates, industry best practices, and emerging trends to recommend innovative enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of extensive experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a successful track record of implementations and customizations.
  • Deep expertise in ServiceNow ITSM modules and configuration, workflow design, and process automation.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow case management, customer service processes, and the UI Builder Now Framework.
  • Proven ability to develop and deploy custom scoped applications on ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow SPM, including Demand Management, PPM, and Resource Management.
  • Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript, GlideRecord, GlideForm, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and relevant web technologies.
  • Experience with ServiceNow development tools and methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, security models, and data privacy principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, SQL, and PowerShell for automation purposes.
  • Proactive, self-motivated individual willing to embrace new challenges and responsibilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
     

Publishing Pay Range: $55.00 – $60.00 USD hourly

This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
