Role Summary
This position entails a senior-level software development role focused on designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications utilizing the .NET framework and MS SQL Server. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in delivering complex solutions, particularly within unemployment applications, and will contribute to technical upgrades involving modern tools and platforms. The role requires a proactive approach to technology integration and collaboration within Agile teams to ensure scalable and efficient software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain enterprise-level applications using .NET Framework, C#, and MS SQL Server.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Design and implement report solutions using SSRS, ensuring accuracy and performance.
  • Contribute to Agile development cycles, participating in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.
  • Utilize version control tools such as GIT to manage codebase effectively.
  • Upgrade legacy systems with modern technologies like Azure Service Bus, .NET Core, MVC, and Vue.js.
  • Develop and maintain Web services and APIs, particularly Rest API integrations.
  • Assist in technical documentation and troubleshooting of complex issues.
  • Support optional advanced features, including service bus integration, correspondence templates, and imaging updates, as needed.
  • Ensure all software solutions adhere to security and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Over 10 years of professional experience with .NET framework development and MS SQL Server.
  • Prior experience in unemployment or government applications is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of C#, WCF, ASP.NET MVC, and SSRS reporting tools.
  • Proficiency with Visual Studio, SSMS, and version control systems such as GIT.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and collaborative team environments.
  • Familiarity with modern development tools including Azure Service Bus, .NET Core, Vue.js, and REST API development.
  • Knowledge of NHibernate for data access and optional skills like NService Bus, Ecrion templates, and ILinx for imaging.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote role with excellent communication skills.
  • Availability to work within designated project schedules and deadlines.
  • Authorized to work in the designated country without restrictions.

Publishing Pay Range: $45.00 – $50.00 USD Hourly

This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
