Role Summary
This position involves designing and implementing advanced AI agents to optimize cloud resources and enhance cloud operations. It requires applying machine learning models for predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and cost forecasting within cloud environments. The role demands collaboration with cloud service providers and cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and data management through automation and innovative AI solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy AI agents to monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization based on insights from cloud service providers.
  • Create predictive models for detecting drift, identifying cost anomalies, and forecasting cloud resource consumption and expenditure.
  • Automate operational workflows utilizing machine learning and intelligent scripting techniques.
  • Integrate AI-driven insights with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure, and with existing data tools and systems.
  • Perform anomaly detection related to security breaches, cost overruns, and system performance issues.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using AWS Glue and other cloud-native services.
  • Use AWS Athena for interactive querying within data lakes to facilitate data analysis and reporting.
  • Manage data storage and processing workflows efficiently with Snowflake cloud data platform.
  • Orchestrate complex data workflows utilizing Apache Airflow DAGs to ensure seamless data pipeline execution.
  • Evaluate emerging AI and machine learning technologies to identify operational improvements and innovations.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of processes, best practices, and new implementations related to AI/ML integration in cloud systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in building and deploying machine learning models within cloud operations environments.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI.
  • Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and leading ML libraries like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
  • Experience working with streaming data, APIs, and telemetry systems for real-time data processing.
  • Familiarity with AWS Glue ETL processes, AWS Athena, Snowflake data platform, and Apache Airflow DAGs.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating across multiple teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and relevant project tracking and version control tools such as Jira, Git, GitLab, or Jenkins.
  • Proficiency in programming languages including Python, Golang, and Bash, alongside development platforms and cloud technologies.
  • Willingness to work in an on-site environment, as this position is based in the office and requires employee presence onsite.

Publishing Pay Range: $48.00 – $50.00 Hourly
