This position is a senior-level IT support role focused on delivering advanced technical assistance across multiple corporate locations and field sites. The role encompasses troubleshooting complex hardware and software issues, deploying and maintaining IT infrastructure, and supporting both on-site and remote end-users. It requires a seasoned technician capable of working independently in distributed environments to ensure seamless technology operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals, ensuring prompt resolution of hardware and software issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to Windows operating systems, productivity suites, and enterprise applications.
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain company-issued hardware, including imaging and system setup.
  • Travel to various offices, operational sites, and remote locations to deliver on-site technical support for network connectivity, workstation setup, and field technology needs.
  • Manage hardware assets through procurement, lifecycle management, and documentation, including hardware upgrades and system maintenance.
  • Draft and update support documentation, troubleshooting procedures, and knowledge base articles to support ongoing operations.
  • Support incident management processes by logging, tracking, and resolving support tickets promptly via IT service management platforms.
  • Implement security measures such as endpoint protection, device encryption, and vulnerability mitigation to adhere to corporate policies.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and application teams on IT projects, including office relocations and technology rollouts.
  • Provide technical mentorship to junior team members and assist with targeted training to improve team capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in IT support, desktop engineering, or field technician positions with a focus on distributed environments.
  • Strong proficiency in supporting Windows operating systems and enterprise productivity applications.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 / Office 365 administration, Active Directory, and Azure AD.
  • Skilled in endpoint management tools such as Intune, SCCM, or similar platforms.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware issues on Dell, HP, and Lenovo laptops/desktops.
  • Proven ability to support remote or field-based users, with excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to multiple field locations as needed.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VPN, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, and Microsoft certifications are preferred.
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices and scripting with PowerShell is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Publishing Pay Range: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 annually

This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
