We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Tester III to join our dynamic testing team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to complex projects, enhance your testing expertise, and support innovative solutions within a collaborative environment. As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate actively in requirements, design, and test planning sessions, both internally and with clients, to ensure comprehensive understanding and alignment.
  • Analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to develop effective test strategies.
  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain detailed test scripts, test data, evidence files, and comprehensive test summary reports.
  • Investigate and debug test failures across the testing lifecycle, update test cases accordingly, and report bugs with clear documentation.
  • Perform test coverage analysis, utilizing automation results to identify testing gaps and optimize testing efforts.
  • Collaborate closely with developers to verify code coverage, using relevant tools, and summarize findings to inform ongoing development.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines to streamline testing activities, ensuring continuous integration and deployment.
  • Conduct API testing and data validation for external interfaces, ensuring seamless data exchange and system integration.
  • Manage version control and configuration management of all test artifacts to ensure consistency and traceability.
  • Engage in technical troubleshooting, issue triage, and collaborative problem-solving with cross-functional teams to facilitate rapid resolutions.
  • Execute various testing types including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management, providing clear status updates and documentation.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of professional experience in IT, with a focus on software testing.
  • Proven expertise in test automation, including planning, scripting, and maintenance.
  • Strong experience with TestNG or JUnit frameworks, utilizing Selenium/WebDriver tools.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium Grid, BrowserStack, and related cross-browser testing tools.
  • Proficiency with build tools such as Maven, ANT, and Bamboo.
  • Solid understanding of version control systems like Git, Bitbucket, and SVN.
  • Support for DevOps practices within AWS environments.
  • Familiarity with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience working within Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Lean, or SAFe.
  • Proficiency with Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence, and test management with TestRail.
  • API and web service testing experience using SOAP UI and Postman.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Resided in the United States for at least 3 of the past 5 years.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Testing and Agile frameworks.
  • Domain knowledge in Federal Fraud, Waste, and Abuse processes.
  • Experience with SonarQube, UI Path, Cucumber, and accessibility testing (e.g., 508 compliance).
  • SAFe/Agile Certification.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Publishing Pay Range: $40.00 – $45.00 USD Hourly
