Role Summary
This position involves leading end to end network deployment projects for office locations, serving as the primary technical liaison for all network related aspects of office buildouts. The role requires overseeing project execution, managing coordination with telecom carriers, and ensuring compliance with security standards. The individual will support troubleshooting efforts during deployment and post implementation phases, maintaining accurate documentation throughout the process.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full lifecycle network deployments for designated office locations, including planning, implementation, and handoff.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for all network related activities during office buildouts.
  • Drive project execution to meet deadlines and ensure seamless integration of network components.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with telecom carriers for circuit installation, provisioning, testing, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure all network implementations adhere to company's security standards and best practices.
  • Support troubleshooting and resolve issues during deployment and after project completion.
  • Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and runbooks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally to ensure project alignment and success.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality.

Qualifications

  • Ten or more years of professional experience in network engineering, focusing on user office network deployments.
  • Extensive experience configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches, including Catalyst and Nexus platforms.
  • Deep practical knowledge of BGP routing in enterprise environments, including peering and troubleshooting.
  • Proven experience designing and managing VRF based network segmentation.
  • Strong expertise in deploying Aruba wireless solutions, including access points, controllers, and Aruba Central.
  • Solid understanding of Quality of Service (QoS) concepts for traffic prioritization across various data types.
  • Proficiency in IP address planning, subnetting, and enterprise IP address management.
  • Working knowledge of network security fundamentals, including ACLs, VPNs, and firewalls.
  • Experience using network monitoring tools and structured troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Ability to independently manage complex projects from design to operational handoff.

Publishing Pay Range: $53.00 – $64.00 hourly

This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
