Role Summary
This is a junior AI developer role focused on designing, developing, and integrating artificial intelligence solutions to automate requirements gathering and test case creation. The position involves collaboration with requirements and test automation teams, leveraging generative AI, large language models, and automation tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop AI tools and programs using Visual Studio Code, Python, and related technologies to support automation and requirement generation.
- Create prototypes and pilot solutions that incorporate generative AI to enhance requirements and test automation processes.
- Integrate AI driven automation solutions with existing software systems, test frameworks, and databases.
- Assist in designing and implementing automated testing scripts and workflows utilizing AI and traditional programming tools.
- Document project processes, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency and high quality.
- Train team members on the effective use and maintenance of AI scripts and solutions.
- Provide technical oversight and review code developed by other team members to ensure functionality and standards are met.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify high impact use cases for AI and automation.
- Develop training materials, documentation, and guidance to support ongoing AI integration efforts.
- Demonstrate professionalism by delivering quality work and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2–3 years of specialized AI development experience in software or technology roles.
- Proficiency with Visual Studio Code, Python, Selenium, Databricks, and Copilot AI tools.
- Experience developing solutions that leverage generative AI and large language models (LLMs).
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop automation solutions that integrate with existing systems and frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to create technical requirements from business user stories.
- Ability to train and mentor team members in AI related workflows and tools.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills to develop training materials and process documentation.
- Availability to work primarily in Washington, D.C., with the flexibility of telework options.
Publishing Pay Range: $30.00 – $35.00 hourly
This is a hybrid role, combining in-office and remote work arrangements.
