Role Summary
This position is a mid-level wealth management operations specialist responsible for supporting the processing of alternative assets, including hedge funds and private equities. The role involves executing transaction processing, managing wire transfers, and conducting periodic valuations of unique investment portfolios. The candidate will contribute to maintaining accuracy and efficiency within a fast-paced, high-volume environment, ensuring compliance with operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Process incoming and outgoing wire transfers accurately and timely.
- Assist in the valuation and reconciliation of alternative investment assets such as hedge funds and private equities.
- Support the processing and review of periodic investment valuations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate data input and record keeping.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in transaction processing.
- Maintain detailed documentation of processed transactions for audit compliance.
- Support ad hoc requests related to wealth management operations as needed.
- Assist with data analysis using Excel, including creating reports or summaries.
- Follow company procedures and industry regulations to ensure operational accuracy.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to improving operational workflows.
Qualifications
- Experience with Excel, including intermediate or advanced features such as pivot tables, macros, and data analysis tools.
- Proficiency with Adobe software.
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in transaction processing.
- Knowledge or prior experience in finance, accounting, or wealth management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial data with confidentiality.
- Prior experience with hedge funds and private equities is a plus.
- Basic understanding of SQL for reading, troubleshooting, or writing queries is advantageous.
- Availability to work in an on-site environment.
Publishing Pay Range: $30.00 to $34.00 hourly
This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
