Role Summary
This position is a mid-level measurement and data analysis role focused on coordinating and documenting measurement processes and procedures within oil and gas operations. The incumbent will support measurement integration efforts, develop analytical dashboards, and assist measurement analysts to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance. The role involves collaboration across multiple departments to optimize measurement systems and ensure timely, accurate revenue reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Document and review current measurement processes and procedures from both heritage and operational assets.
  • Assist in investigating, developing, and implementing new measurement solutions and process improvements.
  • Create and maintain Spotfire dashboards to visualize key performance indicators and operational metrics.
  • Develop and refine KPIs under the direction of the GCR measurement supervisor.
  • Support measurement analysts by resolving FlowCal exceptions and managing specific software modules as a resident expert.
  • Maintain and evaluate facility balancing metrics on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Communicate with field personnel regarding meter corrections, data discrepancies, and measurement adjustments.
  • Import, evaluate, and ensure quality control of meter proving, calibration, and sample analysis data.
  • Resolve volume discrepancies by identifying root causes and applying corrective actions in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations through review of field activity reports and testing information.

Qualifications

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Spotfire and Power BI.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Field Measurement Operations, Production, Revenue Accounting, or as a Measurement Analyst.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of oil and gas measurement fundamentals and equipment.
  • Experience with data warehouse tools such as Snowflake and SCADA data is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of sample analysis compositions and data/file manipulation.
  • Familiarity with measurement policies and procedures is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
Publishing Pay Range: $40.00 – $50.00 Hourly

This position is based in the office and requires employee to work on-site.
