Role Summary
This position oversees the planning, deployment, and optimization of Oracle-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions across multiple plant locations. The role requires strategic leadership, project management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful ERP implementation, user adoption, and long-term system effectiveness. The ERP Implementation Director will coordinate training programs, manage rollout schedules, and address technical and operational challenges to facilitate a seamless technology-driven transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and support of ERP system training and rollout initiatives at plant locations to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with business units and project teams to evaluate needs and align ERP deployment strategies with organizational goals.
  • Provide strategic guidance on ERP functionality, ensuring solutions meet business and operational requirements.
  • Manage relationships with technical teams to customize, optimize, and integrate ERP applications for training and rollout objectives.
  • Develop and oversee project timelines, staffing plans, and resource allocation to ensure smooth implementation and user onboarding.
  • Supervise the ERP rollout team, including onboarding, knowledge transfer, staffing decisions, and travel/onsite shift planning.
  • Identify gaps in current processes and recommend continuous improvements to maximize ERP capabilities in support of plant training and deployment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues, serving as the primary escalation point for ERP-related challenges during rollout.
  • Oversee administrative functions such as travel and expense management, budget tracking, and compliance to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders to facilitate a successful ERP implementation and adoption.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Minimum of 7 years of project management experience in ERP systems, with a focus on deployment and training.
  • Proven experience managing ERP implementations, particularly Oracle-based solutions, in a manufacturing or plant environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration and resolve issues effectively.
  • Ability to develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot functional and technical challenges.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed for onsite support during rollout phases.
  • Working rights to be eligible to work in the designated location.

Publishing Pay Range: $50.00 – $55.00 Hourly

This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between on-site plant locations and remote work.
