Role Summary
This remote project management position involves leading the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT application projects. The role requires overseeing project scope, schedule, budget, and resources to ensure successful deployment and operational readiness. The successful candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams, communicate with stakeholders, and manage project documentation to meet organizational objectives and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple medium to high complexity IT application projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards.
  • Assemble and manage project teams, defining roles, responsibilities, and resource requirements.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures using standard project management tools.
  • Conduct project kick-off meetings, track progress, and communicate issues, risks, and changes to stakeholders.
  • Forecast, review, and control project costs, resource allocation, and contracting activities.
  • Monitor critical milestones and implement corrective actions to maintain project schedule and scope integrity.
  • Conduct site visits and perform scheduled walk-downs as necessary for project assessment.
  • Manage project documentation, including status reports, change logs, and closure reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Lead risk management efforts and implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project success and stakeholder satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience managing medium to high complexity IT product or application projects.
  • Proven experience with IT professional service agreements and logistics coordination.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI required.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams remotely.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in project scheduling, forecasting, and budget control tools.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and handle sensitive project matters.
  • Available to work full-time in a remote setting with flexible scheduling.

Publishing Pay Range: $49.56 – $51.23 Hourly
This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
