The successful candidate will focus on optimizing JIRA and integrating it seamlessly with Adobe Workfront, fostering reliable data flows and process adherence.

Responsibilities

  • Own and clean up existing JIRA projects, including workflows, fields, statuses, backlogs, and ticket quality assurance.
  • Follow up proactively with engineers and technical teams to ensure JIRA tickets are updated accurately and consistently.
  • Ensure accurate data entry in JIRA to facilitate correct flow of work into Adobe Workfront for reporting and visibility.
  • Partner with engineering and delivery leads to establish and enforce standard process workflows for task tracking.
  • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and breakdowns in tooling usage, and implement corrective actions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for JIRA–Workfront alignment, ensuring reliable timelines, effort estimations, and status updates.
  • Create and maintain lightweight documentation and guidance to define best practices in JIRA usage.
  • Support leadership with accurate dashboards and reporting by improving upstream data quality.
  • Proactively identify risks related to outdated or incomplete data in delivery systems and surface them to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with teams to drive tooling adoption and improve overall process discipline.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing JIRA, including issue hygiene, workflows, backlog management, and enforcement.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Workfront as a downstream system dependent on JIRA data.
  • Ability to hold engineering teams accountable for data updates without formal authority.
  • Experience implementing or fixing broken processes, rather than simply following existing workflows.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments requiring process creation and adaptation.
  • Excellent follow-up, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on data accuracy and process discipline.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to drive tooling and process improvements.
  • Experience in Agile environments with inconsistent tooling adoption (preferred).
  • Background in creating dashboards or reports based on clean system data (preferred).
